I don't really see the point in having a functioning AVP Classic 2000 section on GameRanger because the coding changes from Gold Edition to Classic removed LAN play and made multiplayer only possible through locally hosted P2P servers on Steam. I think there is problem with your connection.
gameRanger is showing adobe flash player web plug-in is not installed, but IE is allredy with adobe flash flayer. There's a reason why Microsoft updated their site to recommend GameRanger as a replacement for MSN Gaming Zone for the Age of Empires series.
